Select the host name of a switch from the Devices table, and then
go to Monitor > Monitoring > Diagnostics. The Device
Details panel displays the following information:
An interactive port usage diagram and
corresponding table appear above the Port Statistics
timeline graph. The following information appears above the diagram:
IP Address:
Displays the IP address of the device.
MAC Address:
Displays the MAC address of the device.
Software
Version: Displays the version of the device software.
Model:
Displays the model of the device.
Serial #:
Displays the serial number of the device.
Make:
Displays the make of the device.
IQAgent
Version: Displays the IQAgent software version.
Port Statistics: An interactive timeline graph displays
diagnostics statistical data captured for ports, for the specified time frame. By
default, the data capture time frame is 24 hours.
To customize the time period for
the graph, use the Time Range controls above the timeline, or drag inside the
timeline. The chart lines are interactive—hover over a line to see more data. To
show or hide a line on the graph, select the corresponding label at the top of
the graph.
Depending on the type of switching device selected, the graph
displays some or all of the following details over a colored timeline:
Transmit and receive traffic
and port utilization
Transmit and receive
errors
Transmit and receive data
usage types (unicast, multicast, broadcast)
Port Details: A table displays detailed information for each
port. Select ports to use the ACTIONS menu and select:
Bounce Port or Bounce PoE. Select
Start Test to run a cable test for a port.
QoS Statistics: Interactive timeline graphs shows the number
of QUEUE PKTS and QUEUE
CONGESTION.
